I. The COSMETIC Acupuncture Treatment

This treatment is an individualized holistic, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment that utilizes very thin and small facial acupuncture needles inserted into the face to improve blood flow in the face, boost collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture bringing a healthy radiant glow to the skin. Facial map reading is also utilized and in traditional Chinese medicine, is a technique used to discern the underlying imbalances within the body that can be causing the area of concern through the face.
Cosmetic acupuncture is also used to bring a natural lift to the face, lifting and defining of the cheekbones, reducing fine lines and wrinkles especially around the eyes, nose, mouth, forehead or “eleven lines,” reducing the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, treating acne and acne scarring, treating body scarring such as Cesarean scars, can bring a natural plumping of the lips, and can also increase hair growth by stimulating the follicles on the scalp.
Aside from facial rejuvenation benefits, cosmetic acupuncture can also address underlying imbalances that show within the face. This can look like treating TMJ and reducing facial and scalp tension.
